Proyecto de gestión de servicios para personas con discapacidad en Ventanilla

Abstract

This article presents the problem of the large number of people with disabilities in Mi Perú, Ventanilla, in addition to their limited access to health services, rehabilitation, and physical and psychological therapy, which is an issue of utmost importance due to the inaccessibility posed by the distance to these services and to the scarce economic resources of its people. There is a project that aims at the main socio-economic inclusion of the disabled people through their access to the services they need by improving such services in their towns. This project has three components: a) training in the care and attention, b) adequate equipment infrastructure in the rehabilitation centers and c) strengthening of management personnel within the framework of an agreement between the Municipality of Ventanilla and the Health Ministry, under which the municipality bears the cost of the center, and the ministry be responsible for the salaries of administrative and health personnel.Este artículo presenta el problema del gran número de personas con discapacidad en Mi Perú, Ventanilla, además de su limitado acceso a los servicios de salud, rehabilitación, terapia física y psicología; lo que es un tema de la mayor importancia tanto por la inaccesibilidad debida a la distancia como por los escasos recursos económicos de su población. Se plantea un proyecto que tiene como fin principal la inclusión socioeconómica de las personas con discapacidad mediante su acceso a los servicios que requieren a través del mejoramiento de estos en su centro poblado. Este proyecto tiene tres componentes: a) capacitación en el cuidado y la atención, b) adecuada infraestructura de equipos en el centro de rehabilitación y c) fortalecimiento de la gestión del personal dentro del marco de un convenio entre la Municipalidad de Ventanilla y el Ministerio de Salud, en el cual el municipio asume el costo de estos y el ministerio, el sueldo del personal administrativo y de salud.
