Item Open Access Calidad universitaria e ingresos laborales en egresados de universidades licenciadas del Perú(Universidad ESAN, 2020) Rodríguez German, Alvaro Francisco; Mantilla Gonzales de la Cotera, EduardoLa presente investigación analiza la relación entre la calidad universitaria y los ingresos laborales de los egresados en el marco de universidades licenciadas del Perú en el 2018. En ese sentido, la investigación incorpora como medida de calidad universitaria al ranking universitario proporcionado por la Superintendencia Nacional de Educación Superior. Este ente a través de un informe presenta dos rankings (general y específico). El último dividido en 6 áreas de conocimiento, establecido por la Organización para la Cooperación y Desarrollo Económico (OCDE, 2015). El modelo utilizado incorpora como variable explicada al ingreso mensual, y como variables explicativas al ranking universitario como medida de calidad, la experiencia y la variable dicotómica relacionada al grado de estudio. Asimismo, las características propias del individuo como el género y el área que pertenece la carrera del egresado harán las veces de variables de control. Los resultados sugieren que la calidad universitaria expresada a través del ranking general y específico inciden en el ingreso de los egresados. Por otro lado, se verá que las características del individuo como el nivel de estudio y experiencia se relacionan de manera positiva con el retorno.Item Open Access Características demográficas del emprendedor y su relación con el Bootstrapping financiero, escenario 2023(Universidad ESAN, 2023) Miranda Sulca, Jessenia Edith; Cáceda Quispe, MarisolEl emprendedor tiene un protagonismo importante en la economía de nuestro país. Una de sus limitantes es el acceso al financiamiento externo por ello requiere que el emprendedor desarrolle estrategias no tradicionales. Esta situación, permite el uso del boostrapping financiero como una alternativa de solución a corto plazo para la obtención de capital. El boostrapping financiero está comprendido por técnicas altamente creativas y agrupado en 05 categorías: financiación del propietario, negociación de pagos, utilización conjunta de recursos, reducción de la cuenta por cobrar y minimización del capital invertido en stock. En diversos estudios se presume que las características demográficas del emprendedor: el género, edad, nivel de educación y experiencia son factores relevantes en la elección de las técnicas del boostrapping financiero. Por ello, este estudio pretende determinar la relación existente entre estas variables. La metodología aplicada es de tipo correlacional y se realizó un cuestionario a los emprendedores de la zona de Lima Norte con negocios menores a tres años. Posteriormente, se realizó un análisis estadístico confirmatorio para abordar las hipótesis de la investigación, lo cual nos permitió concluir que en algunas categorías si existe relaciones significativas entre las características demográficas y el uso de determinadas técnicas del bootstrapping financiero.Item Open Access Ciclos políticos presupuestarios en el Perú: Evidencia empírica para los gobiernos locales, 2008 - 2018(Universidad ESAN, 2020) Jachilla Villanueva, Fernando Arnold; Franciskovic Ingunza, JubitzaLa presente investigación analiza la dinámica del ciclo político presupuestario en los gobiernos locales de Perú. Para ello, se emplea un enfoque de datos de panel dinámicos con información secundaria proveniente de fuentes oficiales del país para el periodo 2008-2018. El modelo utilizado incorpora como variables explicadas al gasto público total y sus componentes, y como variables explicativas a dicotómicas que señalan el ciclo electoral; asimismo, se incluyen factores demográficos, económicos, políticos y de gestión municipal como variables de control. Los hallazgos del análisis sugieren la presencia de ciclos políticos presupuestarios en los gobiernos locales, los cuales se manifiestan a través de la expansión del gasto público en los años electorales y la reducción de este al año siguiente.Item Open Access Determinación del impacto del Bono yo me quedo en casa en un conjunto de variables asociadas al bienestar de los hogares peruanos de marzo a junio de 2020(Universidad ESAN, 2023) Guevara Montoya, Alexandra; Mantilla Gonzales de la Cotera, Eduardo JavierEn medio de un escenario caótico generado a partir de la propagación del coronavirus, las iniciativas gubernamentales de protección social buscaron sostener el bienestar de los más necesitados ante las drásticas pero necesarias medidas de confinamiento y distanciamiento social implementadas. En el Perú, los estudios empíricos orientados a evaluar la efectividad de dichas iniciativas todavía son escasos y poseen algunas limitaciones. En este marco, la presente investigación se orientó a evaluar el impacto del Bono yo me quedo en casa sobre el bienestar de los hogares beneficiarios, enmarcando el bienestar en tres ejes: alimentación, salud y educación. Para la evaluación, se hizo uso de la técnica Propensity Score Matching y los datos fueron extraídos de la ENAHO 2020. Los resultados mostraron que el bono no logró impactar significativamente sobre la alimentación y la salud; no obstante, se reveló la existencia de un impacto favorable y significativo sobre un indicador asociado a la educación. Dichos resultados, además de ser compatibles con los estudios previos y con las estadísticas que caracterizan al contexto, develan la latente necesidad de reevaluar el diseño de políticas sociales de esta naturaleza a fin de mejorar la capacidad de respuesta gubernamental, sobre todo en contextos de crisis.Item Open Access Determinantes de la decisión de los miembros del hogar para que el niño/niña trabaje(Universidad ESAN, 2023) Avalos Inciso, Maryoreth Alisson; Franciskovic Ingunza, JubitzaEsta tesis tiene como objetivo hallar los determinantes que afectan la decisión de los miembros que componen el hogar para que los niños trabajen en lugar de dedicarse exclusivamente a la educación. Para ello, se utiliza como base la Encuesta Nacional de Hogares (en adelante, ENAHO) del 2021, centrándose en una selección representativa de infantes entre 5 y 11 años a nivel nacional. Se emplea un modelo económico de técnicas econométricas de opciones binarias Logit y Probit. Estas buscan calcular la posibilidad de que un niño se involucre en el trabajo y posteriormente se examinan las relaciones entre las variables del modelo mediante un previo análisis descriptivo. Se propone la suposición de que la decisión de los miembros del hogar para que el infante trabaje depende de elementos que comprenden características específicas del niño, del jefe del hogar y socioeconómicas. Los resultados obtenidos revelan los principales determinantes, estos son: el nivel de escritura y lectura, lengua materna, edad del niño, área geográfica donde habita el niño, el nivel educativo del jefe del hogar, número de padres en el hogar, nivel socioeconómico y la tasa de ocupación de las personas adultas en el hogar.Item Open Access Determinantes de la demanda del turismo receptivo en el Perú por países de la OCDE(Universidad ESAN, 2020) Pérez Santos, Jairo Alberto; González Mendoza, Carlos AlbertoSe estudia la demanda del turismo receptivo internacional del Perú medido a través de los arribos de turistas internacionales de cuatro países seleccionados de la OCDE, organización a la que el Perú espera adherirse en el 2021, año del bicentenario de su independencia. Dichos países fueron escogidos en base a su participación en el total del volumen de turistas que llegan al Perú y al nivel de gasto que generan durante su estadía. Asimismo, de manera más precisa, se trata de validar mediante un análisis econométrico de qué manera variables como el ingreso per cápita de los países emisores, el índice de precios peruano, el índice de precios relativos con los destinos sustitutos, el gasto en promoción turística del Perú en el exterior, la inversión en infraestructura y equipamiento turísticos, y eventos de riesgo son determinantes en el modelo económico propuesto. Entre otros resultados, se descubre la relevancia de la recomendación de los propios turistas que ya visitaron el Perú en la demanda de turismo receptivo, y su influencia en la elección de viaje de los futuros visitantes extranjeros. De este modo, lograr un producto turístico de calidad impactaría positivamente en un mejor posicionamiento comercial del destino Perú y lograr un mayor número de turistas internacionales.Item Open Access Determinantes de la siniestralidad de autos en una empresa aseguradora peruana: un enfoque bayesiano(Universidad ESAN, 2020) Condori Anccasi, Liesel Nathaly; Cortez Cumpa, JorgeLa presente investigación tiene como objetivo encontrar la relación que existe entre los determinantes no observables, asociados a la conducta aleatoria del individuo y la ocurrencia de siniestros vehiculares en una compañía aseguradora peruana. Para lograr el objetivo planteado se hizo una revisión de la teoría relacionada a la economía de la información y se analizaron los problemas de asimetría de información en el mercado asegurador. Asimismo, se demuestra que el problema existente de selección adversa en el mercado de seguros de autos, evidenciado por la diferencia de información que poseen el principal y el agente respecto al riesgo de este último, impacta en la probabilidad de siniestro. En tal sentido, la existencia de factores de riesgo no observables modifica la probabilidad de siniestro de un auto asegurado. El contexto anteriormente mencionado hizo propicia la aplicación del instrumento bayesiano como medio de análisis en términos de multiplicación de probabilidades permitiendo tomar en cuenta la información que no puede conocer la aseguradora. Luego de realizar el planteamiento del modelo logit bayesiano se pudo identificar que la explicación del modelo para encontrar los determinantes de la probabilidad de siniestro mejoraba al incluir los factores de riesgo no observables mediante una distribución a priori. Adicionalmente, se pudo identificar que los determinantes de la probabilidad de siniestro relevantes son: la marca del vehículo, la obtención del GPS, el tipo de vehículo, el estado civil del propietario del vehículo, la prima pagada por el seguro del vehículo.Item Open Access Los determinantes del rendimiento académico en las regiones del Perú: un enfoque de Econometría Espacial(Universidad ESAN, 2020) Chachico Delgado, Yeri Estela; Mantilla Gonzales de la Cotera, EduardoLa literatura nacional manifiesta poca evidencia sobre el uso de la econometría espacial como herramienta para estudiar el rendimiento académico y sus determinantes; por ello el objetivo de la investigación es identificar los determinantes del rendimiento académico en Comprensión Lectora en las regiones geográficas del Perú e investigar la existencia de autocorrelación espacial. La metodología usada en la presente investigación para el modelo general es el Modelo Espacial de Error (SEM) de efectos fijos en panel data, cuyos resultados indican que las variables de servicios básicos, educación inicial y tamaño promedio de clase tienen estadísticos significativos. Por otro lado; para la Costa las variables que resultaron estadísticamente significativos fueron el acceso a Internet y la educación inicial, para la Sierra fueron el acceso a Internet, la educación inicial y el tamaño promedio de clase; mientras que para la Selva fueron las variables de educación inicial y las Necesidades Básicas Insatisfechas. Con estos resultados se llega a la conclusión de la existencia de autocorrelación espacial del rendimiento académico, agrupándose por ubicación geográfica. Asimismo, se resalta la importancia que tiene la educación inicial sobre el rendimiento académico, por ello el Gobierno debería implementar políticas públicas que permita aumentar la cobertura y calidad de la educación inicial para todas las regiones.Item Embargo Determinantes en el desempeño financiero de las Instituciones Microfinancieras (IMF) de Perú en tiempos de pandemia covid 19(Universidad ESAN, 2023) Ramos Torres, Neiba Alida; Del Carpio Gallegos, Javier FernandoDurante la pandemia Covid 19 las instituciones microfinancieras de Perú han reflejado resultados con tendencia decreciente, hecho que no ocurre antes de la pandemia. Por ello en este estudio el objetivo principal fue identificar y analizar los factores determinantes en el desempeño financiero de las IMF de Perú en tiempos de la pandemia Covid 19. Metodológicamente, dado que en el estudio no se altera las variables, sino que se limita a describir los efectos de las variables consideradas y se aplica la muestra en un solo momento, se trata de un enfoque cuantitativo con diseño no experimental y de enfoque longitudinal. La conclusión indica que las variables determinantes en el desempeño financiero de las instituciones micro financieras de Perú en tiempos de Pandemia Covid 19 en su mayoría son las variables microeconómicas.Item Open Access Educación financiera, comportamiento crediticio de riesgo y estilo de vida minimalista: Evidencia intergeneracional desde un enfoque SEM-ANN(Universidad ESAN, 2023) Pardo Piñashca, Eduardo Andres; Cortez Cumpa, JorgeEl estilo de vida minimalista representa una oportunidad para enfocarse en aquello que proporciona mayor bienestar y crecimiento personal. A pesar de su creciente popularidad entre generaciones jóvenes e influencia sobre el proceso de toma de decisión, este estilo de vida ha recibido poca atención de la academia. En particular, la expresión del estilo de vida minimalista en el proceso de toma de decisión financiera en países en desarrollo representa un área de investigación inexplorada. Con el fin de abordar esta brecha en la investigación, se analizó el efecto moderador del estilo de vida minimalista sobre la relación entre la educación financiera y el comportamiento crediticio de riesgo, y se determinó si existen diferencias significativas entre individuos de la generación X e Y. A la luz de los resultados, se encontró que la educación financiera tiene un efecto negativo y significativo sobre el comportamiento crediticio de riesgo. Por otro lado, se observó que la adopción del estilo de vida minimalista fortalece el efecto negativo de la educación financiera sobre el comportamiento de riesgo relacionado al uso de crédito de consumo. Sin embargo, el efecto moderador solo fue significativo entre individuos de la generación Y.Item Open Access Efecto de la asociatividad en la solicitud de créditos en los pequeños caficultores del Perú(Universidad ESAN, 2020) Paredes Espinoza, Eduardo Joe; González Mendoza, Carlos AlbertoLa demanda de créditos en el sector agrario se mantiene en un nivel muy bajo a pesar de un incremento sostenido de la accesibilidad al crédito. Existe un problema del lado de la demanda que podría tener sus causas en la baja productividad y la reducida rentabilidad. Algunos afirman que ambos factores podrían incrementarse mediante la asociatividad. Motivado por entender el comportamiento económico de los pequeños productores, esta investigación tiene como objetivo estimar el efecto de las asociaciones en la demanda de créditos tomando como población objetivo a los pequeños caficultores del Perú. El modelo econométrico escogido es el propensity score matching y los datos son proporcionados por el IV Censo Nacional Agropecuario. Los resultados muestran que aquellos caficultores asociados incrementan la probabilidad de solicitar un crédito, comparado con aquellos que no lo están. Consistente con la teoría, la asociatividad tiene un efecto causal positivo y significativo en la solicitud de créditos en los pequeños caficultores del Perú.Item Open Access Efecto del poder social pasivo legítimo y experto de niños preadolescentes sobre el proceso de decisión de compra de las madres en cadenas de jugueterías de Lima(Universidad ESAN, 2018) Carrillo Aburto, Miriam Gabriela; Salcedo Zuta, Néstor UlafLa presente investigación estudia el efecto del poder social pasivo legítimo y experto de niños preadolescentes sobre la decisión de compra de las madres en cadenas de jugueterías de Lima. La revisión de literatura toma en consideración los conceptos de Poder Social y la Decisión de Compra Familiar para luego enfocarse en los poderes sociales pasivos legítimo y experto sobre las dos etapas de decisión de compra por parte de las madres, a fin de testear siete hipótesis. La metodología de investigación se basa en un diseño no experimental transversal del tipo correlacional-causal, cuya población objetivo son las madres peruanas de familias que residen en Lima que específicamente compren juguetes para preadolescentes en cadenas de jugueterías. La técnica a desarrollar es de análisis multivariado. Complementariamente, se utiliza una prueba de moderación para las variables, gasto, grado de importancia y estado civil. Los resultados muestran que existe un efecto directo del poder social pasivo legítimo y experto sobre la etapa inicial y de decisión, respectivamente. Además de que el gasto no genera un efecto moderador para ambos casos. Mientras que las otras dos variables restantes si presentan una moderación negativa. Como contribución académica, esta investigación pretende extender las dimensiones del poder social pasivo y su efecto sobre la decisión de compra familiar en un contexto de economía emergente latinoamericana, los cuales no han sido evaluados a profundidad. Como contribución profesional, se desea encontrar hallazgos que los mercadólogos pudieran necesitar como oportunidad para mejorar el desarrollo de estrategias y tácticas para este tipo de mercado.Item Open Access El efecto traspaso de la tasa de interés de referencia sobre las tasas de la banca comercial en el Perú durante el periodo del tapering del 2013 al 2021: un enfoque de cointegración multivariado y regresiones recursivas(Universidad ESAN, 2023) Escobedo Pro, Ramsés Antonio; Boza Torrejon, PabloEl siguiente documento estudia la relación entre el efecto traspaso de la tasa de interés de referencia del Perú con las tasas de interés activas promedio en moneda nacional del sistema financiero durante el periodo del tapering. Esta postura de política económica contractiva, anunciada por la Reserva Federal (FED) en el 2013 y que se comenzó a implementar desde diciembre de ese año, generó la salida de capitales en países emergentes. Ante esto, el Banco Central de Reserva del Perú (BCRP) tuvo que adoptar medidas preventivas para mantener las expectativas de la inflación cerca del rango meta, el cual se ubicaba entre el 1 por ciento y 3 por ciento. Los resultados de la prueba de cointegración de Johansen muestran un efecto traspaso completo y una velocidad de ajuste mayor a un año en la mayoría de las tasas de interés activas promedio. Asimismo, esta investigación es diferente de otras anteriores porque toma en cuenta pruebas de raíz unitaria con quiebre estructural, utiliza regresiones recursivas para determinar la evolución de la velocidad de ajuste, incluye el modelo autorregresivo con umbral para hallar asimetrías según el régimen de la economía y aborda la pandemia de la COVID-19.Item Open Access Efectos de la experiencia de marca, confianza y satisfacción sobre la lealtad a la marca por parte de clientes de vehículos livianos de la marca japonesa Nissan en el mercado peruano – Lima Metropolitana(Universidad ESAN, 2024) Vergara Prudencio, Adriana Cleofé; Valera Olivares, DanielEl propósito del estudio fue establecer los efectos de la experiencia de marca, la confianza y la satisfacción del cliente en la lealtad a la marca hacia los vehículos livianos de la marca Nissan en el mercado peruano, específicamente en Lima Metropolitana durante el año 2023. Se empleó un enfoque basado en la metodología cuantitativa, no experimental, explicativo, corte transversal y correlacional; asimismo, población objeto de estudio fueron los clientes de Lima Metropolitana, en ese sentido, la muestra representativa se conformó por 370 clientes. Los resultados revelaron correlaciones significativas entre la experiencia de marca, la confianza y la satisfacción, y su relación positiva con la lealtad de los clientes. Estos hallazgos coincidieron con investigaciones similares en otros contextos, respaldando la idea de que experiencias positivas, confianza y satisfacción son fundamentales para cultivar la lealtad del cliente. En específico, se evaluará el efecto simultáneo de la usabilidad percibida, satisfacción, confianza y compromiso en la lealtad hacia la plataforma de banca web; así como el efecto de la usabilidad en la satisfacción, confianza y compromiso del usuario hacia una plataforma de banca web. En cuanto a las unidades de estudio que se consideran en esta investigación, son delimitadas como usuarios de la plataforma de banca web del BBVA, entre 21 a 30 años, y residentes de Lima Metropolitana. Los resultados de la evaluación desarrollada revelaron que la confianza, la satisfacción y el compromiso del usuario son afectados por el nivel de usabilidad percibida de las plataformas de banca web y; que todas estas variables afectan de manera simultánea en la lealtad del usuario de la plataforma de la banca web del BBVA.Item Open Access El impacto de la calidad y motivos experienciales, de compra electrónica, en la satisfacción e intención, de compra electrónica, de artículos tecnológicos entre los clientes de Lima Metropolitana(Universidad ESAN, 2024) Cauna Amaranto, Freddy Alexander; Valera Olivares, DanielEl presente trabajo evalúa las dimensiones de la calidad de compra electrónica y los motivos experienciales de compra electrónica y su efecto simultáneo en la intención de compra electrónica a través de la satisfacción de compra electrónica de artículos tecnológicos. Este trabajo se desarrolla bajo una metodología del tipo cuantitativo explicativo y diseño no experimental transversal. Asimismo, la muestra de esta investigación se compone de 401 consumidores en línea de artículos tecnológicos, cuyos datos fueron recopilados mediante encuestas en línea completadas por ellos mismos. Los resultados de esta investigación fueron determinantes al comprobar que los factores de calidad de compra electrónica (la privacidad/seguridad, el contenido/funcionalidad del sitio web; la calidad de servicio) y los factores de las motivaciones experienciales de compra electrónica (atmósfera/experiencia) influyen significativamente en la satisfacción de compra electrónica y la intención de compra electrónica. Asimismo, se concluye que la satisfacción de compra electrónica influye en la intención de compra electrónica, también.Item Open Access Estudio sobre el efecto de las medidas no arancelarias en las agroexportaciones: uvas y espárragos peruanos destinados a APEC(Universidad ESAN, 2021) Rosas Cárdenas, Claudia Alessandra; González Mendoza, Carlos AlbertoEl estudio tiene como objetivo determinar el efecto de las medidas no arancelarias, específicamente los obstáculos técnicos al comercio y las medidas sanitarias y fitosanitarias, en las agroexportaciones peruanas destinadas a las economías del Foro de Cooperación Económica Asia – Pacífico (APEC). La metodología consiste en un enfoque secuencial mixto dividido en cuatro fases. En primer lugar, a partir de una matriz de preselección, se definieron los productos objeto de estudio. En la segunda fase, el método del inventario permitió medir la evolución y cobertura comercial de las medidas no arancelarias que afectan a las exportaciones de los productos seleccionados. Posteriormente, se utilizó un modelo gravitacional, a fin de cuantificar el efecto de las medidas no arancelarias en las exportaciones de espárragos y uvas. Finalmente, se realizaron entrevistas semi estructuradas a empresas agroexportadoras, funcionarios del MINCETUR y del SENASA en aras de conocer la percepción y experiencia de estos sobre la materia. Se concluye que las medidas no arancelarias podrían tener un efecto negativo en las exportaciones peruanas de espárragos y uvas, dependiendo de las condiciones de su aplicación, así como las capacidades de las empresas para cumplir con dichos requisitos.Item Open Access Evaluación en la calidad de servicio y satisfacción del cliente en los hoteles de dos y tres estrellas de la ciudad de Abancay(Universidad ESAN, 2016) Ballón Cervantes, Susan Camila; Valle Velasco, YolandaEl principal objetivo de esta investigación es analizar las variables de la calidad de servicio que influyen en la satisfacción al cliente en los hoteles de dos y tres estrellas de la ciudad de Abancay. Para medir las variables de la calidad de servicio, se recolectó la data utilizando un cuestionario del modelo SERVPERF, que fue adaptado según al contexto; constó de 20 ítems, y un ítem para medir la satisfacción al cliente. Se encuestó a 431 turistas nacionales y extranjeros que se hospedaron en los hoteles de dos y tres estrellas. Luego, se analizó la data con el programa estadístico SPSS, donde se utilizó el análisis factorial, análisis de fiabilidad, estadística descriptiva y estadística inferencial. De los 431 encuestados, el 43.4% fueron a los hoteles de 2 estrellas y 56.6% al de 3 estrellas. El 34.6% de los encuestados son mujeres y el 65.4%, varones. Así también, a través del análisis factorial se identificó tres variables de la calidad de servicio: “elementos tangibles”, “capacidad de respuesta” y “empatía”; de los cuales influyeron en la satisfacción al cliente.Item Open Access Factores de incidencia en la intención de uso de la aplicación Yape del BCP en Lima Metropolitana en el 2022(Universidad ESAN, 2023) Mendoza Osorio, Héctor José; Valdez Salas, MarioLa investigación tiene como objetivo determinar de qué manera la actitud influye en la intención del usuario en adoptar los servicios de la aplicación Yape del BCP en Lima Metropolitana en el 2022. La investigación mantiene un enfoque cuantitativo, alcance explicativo y de diseño no experimental transversal. El método de muestreo es no probabilístico; la muestra conformada por 384 usuarios. Para la recopilación de datos se utilizó el instrumento de Alswaigh; utiliza los modelos TAM y UTAUT para determinar los factores que influyen en la aceptación del usuario de adoptar servicios tecnológicos. Entre ellas: facilidad de uso percibida, utilidad percibida, confianza, seguridad, condiciones facilitadoras y compatibilidad del estilo de vida, intención de uso y la actitud; con respecto a la recolección de datos se realizó de forma online. Las siguientes pruebas corresponden al análisis de datos: análisis de factores, análisis de confiabilidad alfa de Cronbach y regresiones lineales. Los resultados demostraron que la variable actitud es significativa y explica el 72% de la variabilidad de la intención de uso. Adicionalmente, se comprobó que todas las dimensiones propuestas son significativas, explicando el 77.6% de la variabilidad de la intención de uso.
